Jacob Nigel retained the Law Office of Neil H. Good to represent him before the Social Security Administration to obtain disability benefits. An initial application was filed to obtain disability benefits. The Social Security Administration rejected his initial application. They ruled that Jacob Nigel did not qualify for Social Security disability benefits. Mr. Nigel’s request for reconsideration was filed with the Social Security Administration. The Social Security Administration denied the request for reconsideration. They ruled that while Mr. Nigel could not perform his previous vocation he was still able to perform light duty work. The Law Office of Neil H. Good filed a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) on his behalf.
Attorney Good outlined Mr. Nigel’s case to the ALJ. Mr. Nigel suffers from rheumatoid arthritis which is evidenced by his multiple positive RA tests. He has flare-ups of pain, night stiffness, sleep loss, hand pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, stiffness, knee pain, foot pain and fatigue.
